You came to the right place. :)

One of the most popular tactics to increase traffic is SEO so that's what I will suggest you to do as well.

It can take time to get the ball rolling but once you do the traffic is quite passive and highly engaged (and profitable).

Use social media platforms to promote your blog they index well. And try to include more relevant content in your blog so that more people will be attracted to your blog.

Share each new blog post across your social media networks, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest.
The titles for your blog posts are almost more important than the content itself. That's because titles help potential readers decide whether they should click and read more.
Make your content easy to read by using plenty of subheads, bullets and numbered lists.
Promote your blog in your email signature and your bio in any online profiles.

Try guest posting on other blogs. This is a legit means of building links to your blog. After some time you will see your blog rank on your niche with some specific keywords which you wish to rank with. Good luck.

There are two ways you can play this game.

1. You can just stick to what you already have and look for people.

2. Or, you can put up a new blog but on better foundations.

You have to understand that just because you think a topic is hot or interesting, that alone doesn't mean that people would share your passion.

I ought to know.

When I first started in the blogging game, I put up a blog about my opinions.

It turned out that opinions are a dime and a dozen in my nice and people didn't really care what I had to say about the developments in my niche because the niche is so free form/still evolving.

As you can well imagine, my blog went nowhere.

Learning from that experience, I slowly figured out that the best way to blog is to talk about stuff that your audience is already interested in.

Now, you can do this the easy way or the hard way.

The hard way, of course, means spending money on consumer research and using all sorts of expensive forecasting tools or trend marketing tools to try to zero in on the psychology of your target audience and crafting content that way.

Thankfully, there is a much cheaper alternative: let your competitors do your homework for you.

The way you do this is to find your top competitors in your niche, and then run their domain to an SEO tool and find keywords that are directly related to your niche but have a low difficulty rating.

Now, this is a little bit tricky because the reason why some sites get a lot of traffic is that they pull a lot of these lower-difficulty keywords even though they're not actively targeting them.

Their domain authority is that strong.

So, you have to look at the big picture and see if these are truly "underserved" keywords that you can put your special twist on.

And if you have enough of these and you rank well for them, you can get your blog's foot through the door, so the speak.

And this enables you to build a stronger domain authority over time.

Eventually, this will put you in a position to compete for more difficult keywords.

I suggest that you do things the easy way instead of the hard way because looking for your target audience members on the Internet is not as easy as you think.

And 9 times out of 10, whether on social media or in another space, there are already better-established brands there competing for the same eyeballs.
