MR.Spuf is right, hashtags are really powerful!
Hashtags can cause shadowban on your account, only if you spam always and constantly hashtags that are not related at all on your post, trying to get more likes or by using banned hashtags. For example, you have a car based accounts and use hashtags like #likeforlike #music #beautiful #happy etc, trying to show your content to more people, there is a higher chance to get shadowbanned.
If you use 30 hashtags relevant to your niche in every post and change them at least weekly, the chance to get your account shadowbanned drop near the 0, while the results can be epic

You can get more likes if you have a big number of followers and also the most important quality of content. You can also buy followers from a different trustable website that sell social media services.
