How can I get more customers?

I have been sending out the 7878 letters for the past few weeks and I have only gotten a couple calls back out of hundreds of letters.

Are there any other ways to acquire customers? I have thought about sending out hundreds of post cards to businesses in my area, but not sure if that would work.

Any ideas?

I think that is a good idea.
Build a big contact list is key to sucess
Build relation with them, do not expect to sell at the 1st time
When you have built good relation with them and they begin to trust you ( think you a an expert in their interesting niche ), then it is time to make money from them:)

How soon after you sent out the letter did you follow up with phone calls to the business?
 
MM you lucky, IF i try that you can be sure NOBODY call back, since i have a GREAT luck lol
 
How carefully are you picking the businesses you're sending letters to? Following up is also a good idea; You should find a good CRM program to help you keep organized.

If you're up for it, a good method for me when I was starting was to literally walk into businesses and ask for the manager. I had an iPad with my funnel set up on it, a list of stats I memorized, and some knowledge in sales. Just be confident with it.
 
Depending on different business there should be different ways to be execute instead of sticking Orthodox methods. I don't mean to avoid such practice but I strongly believe to generate business using multiple areas. Of-course letters have their importance but have you ever think to get referral business. Findout people nearby your niche and contact them, pay them to get sponsored. You can also reciprocal business if feasible. Getting famous in the industry is not an easy task as extra efforts need to be given.
 
Starting a business is the easy part. But getting them customers...... damn, I wish I could run a business without having to do this
