How can I get money from SIM cards?

If someone is wondering I discover that there's a bitcoin exchange which accepts payment via mobile balance. You ask for the amount you want and they convert that to X minutes on a phone call or X amounts of SMS. You have to verify each card I think but I don't think that will be very difficult.

I'm not going to do it right now, but I least I know that there's a way to get your money back.

Mind sharing the exchange?
I would like to have backup plans for everything

i buy pre activated sim cards wholesale £25 100 of them all pre activated for text go ebay...

pre activated sim cards

here a example bit pricy but you look, i am a blind user ....

I also purchased UK SIMs but I purchased Vodafone SIMs.
they are working fine.
I receive verification codes from those.
and they do not need balance to receive SMS.
So no need to load money and receive SMS free.

I don't think I'm allowed to do it, but wasn't that hard to find, I bet that if you google something like buying bitcoin with mobile balance you can find it!

Can you share the exchange name ? Do they accept all countries ? Edit : saw your reply, I will search.

there are poker/roulette mobile sites that accept sms payments. then you play roulette and bet red and black so you dont loose. money is turned to winnings and you can withdraw cash. - UNTIL they ban you account for breaking T&C's for playing red/black games. In UK O2 used to give you 10% of your top up and every quarter 10% of your total topups.

i would topup £50 at a time for credit (free data and wifi didnt exist then) i'd put the £5 (10%) in to the above system and withdraw and the same every quarter until they got wise. Now then ban when they come to verify the payment.

another option would be to have a premium rate phone number and phone yourself- wont get the whole of the balance but some. Ive also looked in to setting up a website to accept payment by sms but the providers are expensive and you get very little of the funds.

i bought alot of giffgaff sims (and had aload free) didnt realise you have to load with at least £10 to activate and get the number. - used these a few times for some PVA website/account creations services as i can absorb the £10 in to the fee. normally what i do then is use that for a data bundle for one of my many wifi hotspots.

going to purchase O2 for voda sims from now on tho - (does anybody want 50 giffgaff sims lol)

found the BTC exchange. For Uk for example you have to deposit £20 via mobile payment as a minimum and you get 0.002375 BTC which is equal to about £11 so probably not worth it if you have small free balances.
