How can I get Google to Verify a OptimizePress WP site?

Never happened to me before, but I can get Google to verify an optimizepress wp site. I tried to insert the tracking code (unless I inserted the wrong one), and it says failed after I hit verify in google.


Any suggestions? If I have to do the metatag, would I put that in the box in general settings?

Maybe you could enter the google verify code in the HTML of your actual page? Or, you could install a google analytics wordpress plugin, or a basic sitemap uploader as they usually submit to search engines as well.

The easiest way to do this is using wordpress plugin. I use this wp plugin for all my wordpress blogs http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/
