Content filters at work prevent me from accessing BHW. Sucks. Any tips to get past these filters. I am stuck in the pergatory of WF which I am able to access and I can not stand that stupid freaking forum.

have you tried using a vpn or proxie?

Use free vpn service such as securitykiss. I am using the same. you get 300 MB data free everyday.

try to e-seduce the admin

and you should consider getting a new job, what kind of place is that which is allowing bluefartforum but BHW not? it's racism

VPN out, either to a VPS, or to for instane your box at home. Hell - set up a dedicated monitor just for that session! Does your company allow outbound VPN?

Oh and btw - just make sure you don't get fired for it, m'kay.

hujiko dot com, it is really easy to remember and is not so well known as most proxies so it typically isn't blocked

I don't know what kind of prevention they have at your work but you can try the following.

Change your DNS to use google's DNS (8.8.8.8). That is located under your "local Area Connection Properties". Typically in a business the IT will have this setup to automatically set your IP. You can manually change it to the above.

Again this will only work if your company is filtering via an offsite company. If they are hard blocking inside the company then you might want to just leave it be.

Do they allow you to run executable files (.exe) from USB drives? You could always try a portable version of Tor... My public library has something on their computers called Faronics anti-executable so I can't use Tor there, and they block proxy sites as well. You could always rent a VPS and connect to it via Remote Desktop (BermanHosting is awesome :)).

I second Tor, or HotSpotShield. I sometimes get my Tor IP banned when I open too many threads, but it works well enough to get around.

Get a USB stick and install Firefox Portable :) or try an online proxy

try

worldwideproxy.com
adfreeproxy,com

if thats disallowed then get a list of open proxies and configure your browser to connect to that proxy instead. If your operating is locked by the admin and disallows the configuration. Try installing firefox, then chrome etc and doing the same since the default most likely is IE.
