How can I get an amazon associates account?

I'm completely new to IM and I was intending to use the pinterest/amazon method. But I can't get AA account without a website. Help?

When I started with AA, I used my blogger account. I'm not sure if you can still get accepted this way but it's worth a shot.
Make sure that you use quality content though, and not anything that anyone else has previously posted. AA can be a nice little earner if you use it properly.
