I have an account I created that I need to gain feedback with, can I post a thread here to pay people to bid on my auctions and pay them for leaving positive feedback?

will ebay check to see if the winning bidder paid? example: check paypal records?

is it ok to post threads here to purchase feedback? what price do you think is fair? $1.00 for a positive feedback by each person? in exchange for a positive feedback by me?

    any advise would be appreciated

    thanks

not a good idea, its too risky
ebay is constently suspending accounts that are gaining tons of feedback and for auctions that are for $1 or less
BUT if you ship something physical to the buyer, your ok
and yes ebay does from time to time check too see if all your buyers have paid you

if i were you i would sell like coupons and ship it too your buyers.
    good luck

Im afraid there is no quick fix for gaining feedback. The days are long gone selling shitty ebooks for 0.1 cent. Eb ay seem to have their feedback system down.

Just try and sell the easiest thing possible. Many of the old ebook sellers now list ebooks on CD. There is a company that packs and ships your CD for you at a cost of $1.75 i think.
Im sure there is a thread about it somewhere.

Yep the days of selling any and everything for .01 just to get feedback are gone. If you just want to run your number up, as most buyers don't really even check to see if it's from buying or selling, you could buy up a bunch of cheap stuff. I've done it that way to make a new account look a little aged and it has worked pretty well.

If you want I'd buy something from you and leave full 5-star feedback for you.

You create a listing for a high-dollar product (laptop, hi-end hi-fi, etc...), I win, you cancel the transaction for some reason and we can still trade feedback.

You get your final value fee back and a 5-star positive seller feedback for a top dollar item and nobody will know if you really sent anything to me or not. Ebay will know we cancelled but that's fine.

All you have to do is to do the same for one of my accounts. :)

If you get some more people to do the same you'll grow an impressive feedback in no time.

    PM me if you're interested.

    ;)

I've created accounts twice AFTER the $0.01 auctions were shutdown.

Here's what you do.. to create a legit eBay account for $20 or so...

    1. Go into the jewelry-watches category section of ebay. Sub-category - LooseBeads.

    2. Here you'll find auctions under $1.00. Buy from 10 different sellers. There are tons. The items are small so you'll either get FREE shipping or the shipping you do pay will be minimum.

    3. Make sure they all give you feedback, because you need 10 feedback to sell on eBay.

    Next

    4. Go down to Office Depot, Staples, JC Penney, Sears, Target.. and ask for coupons. If you can't find any there, log on to SlickDeals.com it's a board much like BHW and there is a section there where people buy/sell store coupons. Get them as cheap as you can.

    2. Once you get your coupons, turn around and sell them on ebay and make sure you list your items with FREE shipping. Try and get 10 sales.

Now you have an account with a buying and selling history and hopefully 20 feedback. Rinse and repeat or continue on til you have what you need.

    :)

There are still plenty of items for 1cent with free shipping if that is what he wants.

    Thanks for the advise,

I know about getting banned for $.01 ebooks etc.. for feedback.

Actually what I was asking was, if it is possible to purchase feedback from other members that have ebay seller accounts - here on BHW.

Anyway the coupon idea sounds good, I'll try that. I'd like to keep it as legit as possible.

    Thanks!

Another method buy as many cheap things as you can on ebay. The sellers will give positive feedback and that can help you out. 10$ at most and ask them if they will give you good feedback if they forget.

    couple more questions,

If you get a certain number of feedback, can you stop gaining feedback completely? or once in a while? what if you keep putting up auctions and don't sell anything, will they notice?

next question, if you have a fake seller account and make purchases with shipping. where is the item going to be shipped? it has to go to the address on your ebay/paypal account, so if it's fake addresses what can you do?

    thanks

No, you can't stop gaining feedback. No one is going to notice if you put up auctions and you aren't selling. Remember ebay is making money for everything you put up.

As to the fake seller account. You could use a real address, pick some terrible area in compton; where you can be sure they will keep the package.
Make sure what you are buying is real cheap no more than a dollar. For 10 bucks you could get 10 positive feedbacks. As for ebay I haven't bought anything from there in a while but I think they get your address via paypal. You could just make another paypal account for this or change your address on paypal for when you do the buys. If you don't want to try the compton idea get a PO and have items shipped there. Without a warrant it's impossible to get information on a PO box.

Feedback trading is risky and not a practice I would recommend in great quantity for obviously cheap items.
