Is $40 to $60 per day a bad thing? Sounds like a really, really decent number to me! 
Anyways, if you want more, scale it up. Just work more and do what you're doing better.

I won't concentrate on scaling up your traffic. I will look at your web analytics, listen to your audience, tweak some CTAs.
Try tweaking your Conversion Rate Optimization. What language are you using? Buy now or learn more. You may want to use something more creating or appealing like 'get the perfect deals here'
Do you market to you mailing list?
If mailing list is boring, use push notificatuina to upsell whatever.
I do only 400 visitors per day but most times with 5%. No joke.
Consider what you will get if you are able to convert 5% of 12k... man..
With 12k visitors per day, I would make you between 250 sales (on awful days) and up to 600 when the digital universe is smiles on me.

What network do you currently use? If you are only using 1 ad network then you're probably missing out. I use Adsense as my main source on one of my websites which gets mostly social media traffic. But, then I also use another ad network which pays me for push notification subscribers and popunders. That one change pretty much double my revenue with the same amount of traffic...
You earn from banner ads or from stream host ( openload, streamango )

you earn $40-$60 for 12k visit and if you use host like openload or streamango you can earn $20-$40 for 12k visit. so total $60-$100 .I think it good for 12k visit

If you really want to milk this traffic, I'd suggest covering your site with zones from Content.Ad, along with Google Adx zones from partners such as Ezoic, OKO, etc. You can even try some video ads that play as the user scrolls down until they decide to turn it off!
You could aim for $10 to $12 RPMs with all these zones. They won't have any major impact on user experience if you can ensure that they aren't intrusive and don't slow down your site.
