Hello!
i want to download movies and stuff and upload this to other servers, and to control my website with no footprints.

i read about vps? that good for me?

Yeah, it looks what you need is a VPS if not a dedicated server as they typically have 100Mbps to 1Gbps port speed which can't be expected on a typical home broadband connection.
