How can I download a protected JW Player Video?

Hi,

I'm looking to download a VSL for a product I'm promoting. The vendor doesn't allow me to use it so I'm going to download it anyway.

I have "download helper" which usually works like gangbusters but it simply won't recognize this video.

When I check the page source I can find a link to a jw player .swf file but when I past that into the browser I get an error message. Same thing when I paste in a link that I find inside the source code that's pointing to a .mp4 file.

Any idea how I can bypass this and still download the movie?

On Firefox, right click, view page info, media, select the file with .mp4 or .avi or .flv and save it.

Sniff the traffic with Wireshark or something. You could probably use rtmpdump if it's a stream.

Already tried that but its only .swf file showing up there and I can't download it.
