How can I do this kind of tracking?

I want to add a form to my opt-in page that
will add the "prospect" to the database and
then I can set it up to email me when they
start clicking on different pieces of my
site - so I can track what they are doing
there.

Is there a script or something that's available
here that would allow me to do so?

I'm thinking it would be PHP?

google analytics count the html link clicks.
