Pinterest is fucking weird with banning accounts.
Fun fact: I got my Pinterest account banned for no reason. Then, when I felt like Pinterest is shit (because nothing happened for 3 months), they sent me an email saying that "we are really sorry to suspend your account, it was a mistake on our end, sometimes this does happen, we have activated your account now".
I never logged into Pinterest from that point in time.
