I've got foxit reader 2.3 & it's not able to copy text in
some protected .pdf docs is there anyway to do this.

take a screenshot of it and use software that scans scanner images

If its just a few files you can send me a pm and I can try something I usually do. If its a lot and your just wanting to know how to do it, I dont really have a good answer.

OMG Thank you!!! There is a pdf I have been trying to unlock for almost a month to no joy. This did it and allowed me to print and copy/paste it.

You just made my weekend!
