My client wants me to build him a second version of his site, but I'm not relaly sure how to do that. Is there a way to just copy his whole site as of right now and repopulate it with new content.

What is the easiest way to do this?

If you have ftp / cpanel access, cant you just copy his database structure and all his files on his ftp?

Sure, you can just download the FTP and throw it on a new domain. But I'm wondering: why? It seems like you're creating SEO nightmares.
