How can I check the quality of a proxy?

Hello, there's a question I've had for a long time, and I just realized that someone here might be able to answer it.

How can I know if a proxy is clean/good? For example, I've been experimenting recently with Dolphin and some static residential proxies, and I've noticed that with some IPs (the majority), Google asks me for SMS verification, while with others it doesn't. The same goes for captcha.

The only thing that occurs to me is to check on websites like check my ip, Spamhaus, and similar ones, but I'm not sure if you have any simple way to check if an IP/proxy is good to use or if it's unsafe.

Another thing I try to do, since the proxy provider allows it, is to choose normal ISPs that people use. For example, for ES: Orange, Digi, Vodafone, etc. Am I doing it right or does it not make much of a difference?

you can use proxy no 1

you can check the reputation of the IP by using online tools like 'check my IP' or Spamhaus. These tools can provide insights into whether the IP has been flagged for suspicious activities or is associated with spam.

As well as using Spamhaus and other IP checking sites it's worth also checking your proxy for leaks and other issues.

You can do this by heading to specific sites whilst using the proxy. Some decent examples are: browserleaks.com, pixelscan.net and whoer.net

Between them if you have an issue either with your configuration or proxy one of them at least will likely flag it.

Sounds good to me! Using consumer ISPs rather than datacenter / corporate is usually preferred.

Thank you all for your responses. Especially this last comment, which reminded me of another important question:

Does the browser configuration (Dolphin/Multilogin) need to be manually modified, or should everything be fine by simply generating a new profile? I have a couple of friends who use Multilogin and just create new profiles, but I'm unsure if I should manually modify some parameters, such as changing the MAC address, time zone, language, etc. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
