Hey guys, Im starting up a company and I need 150 people to simply DISTRIBUTE door hangers.

It is 10 hours of work each week for 3 weeks.

I will give them a route and they will put flyers in mailboxes for me (I have saved up quite a bit for this marketing campaign)

So basically its PART TIME for a limited time. Free lancers you could say.

How can I hire 150 free lancers/ part time workers that only need to work for 10 hours each week?

Please give me various ways to get this amount of people.

Any thoughts on job sites and such?

Thanks and cheers

to Hire 150 Guys to DISTRIBUTE door hangers Why dont you distribute Door hangers that you need guys who can DISTRIBUTE door hangers ..... lol Just Kidding

Btw where exactly you want to distribute door hangers ?
I mean if its in US craiglist will help you if its UK gumtree or you can post an Ad on your local newspaper

Just my 2 cents

Start with your local forums, local classifieds and local newspapers. Should be able to get plenty of interested parties.

Maybe taskrabbit? Managing 150 people to do this is a much bigger challenge. You'll have people that just throw them in the trash and don't walk their route at all. I've managed as many as 300 remote, but real world part time workers doing tasks like this and it required a HUGE infrastructure.

Hello,

I don't know how you'd get that many people, but I think people outside Home Depot's are usually looking for work. Or, you could post on VolunteerMatch and list it as a community service type of thing. There are lots of teens who need service hours, so it'd be a win-win. I actually did service for putting doorhangers on doors yesterday lol.

Craigslist should get you a lot of replies. Making sure the job gets done will be the hard part.

Hire professionals. Go to NARMS.

You can get people to do it for $1 a knob, $x a neighborhood, $xx a day. Part time peice-working "boots on the ground" merchandisers. Or hire a merch company that will also provide you with proof of delivery and have supervisors and auditors going behind to make sure the work was done.

The cost is not insane. When I was in that biz I worked for companies that paid $12 an hour, but the job max time was 5 mins and that's what they paid for. lol But seriously, the did. They get workers by piling dozens of jobs together at once. So, I could go into a Staples with 45 5 minute jobs representing 20 different vendors. Each vendor paid a weensy bit of my time

Can't believe no one has mentioned it yet, but backpackers. This is the type of work they go after.

bulk hire, i love your style :D

get a guy that gets this done... an agency is also a good option but its pricy

Is the work divided over a large area (multiple cities etc.)? Such as 150 people each from a different area? Because if you're looking to hire 150 people just from the same dense place with the same general target area for 10 hours each for 3 weeks wouldn't it be more logical and a hell of a lot easier to manage (as well find) to just hire say 50 people for 30 hours a week for 3 weeks? or even cut that number of people down as low as possible? Not only will it be easier to manage you'll actually be able to develop a relationship with the workers which can help in your biggest problem being making sure it is complete.

Hey newman, the work is divided over a number of different suburbs and not going to be in the same area.

Infrastructure wise: I was thinking about dividing the 150 people into 10 divisions with 15 people in each one. In each division, there will be 4-5 teams of 2-3 depending on the areas being targeted. Out of each DIVISION, I will have 1 captain who will manage the 4-5 teams as they will basically deal with a representative from each team in the division that they are leading.

Hope that makes sense. If you guys have another suggestion to change up my infrastructure idea.. it would be awesome if you could!

Regarding the ways to market.. I think you guys have some awesome suggestions! I will definitely market to colleges and ALSO back packing hostels! Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help guys.

Try to find a single guy, who is working in courier/parcel service then tell your requirements, he will get you 1000.
