I currently want to increase my website traffic, which is quite low at around 24k over the past three months. How can I boost my traffic? And how can I reduce my average position? Can you provide some suggestions and help me create an effective strategy? Also, do paid links work?

Keep adding good content. Do not come in hurry with seo as it can result in penalty. Even if you are building links, build them slowly.

Go to the queries section of this report, sort them according to position. Go through keywords were you rank low first page and early second page. Open the respective pages and compare your content as well as overall page optimization with those of sites/pages ranking at the top of page 1(top 3).

Optimize and improve these pages better and your rank and traffic should ideally improve.

The reason it works is that Google already considers your page worthy of ranking, but it just isn't enough to beat others above you.

Another thing is, filter the queries for questions, this depends on your niche. who, what, how, where etc. Open the SERP and see how the result for such keyword is being served, if it hasn't been overtaken by Google's AI search result, maybe you stand a chance when you answer those questions.

Finally, backlinks could be a factor but one needs to know what's going on in your niche first.

Keep adding new content to the site using blog posts, target new and trending keywords, and yes paid back links would definitely help. Make sure the paid back links are from high authority niche relevant sites that have high traffic.

Yeah, your point is acceptable. Please focus on high quality content and backlink generation which will be helpful for you.

I suggest building some high-quality links. I suggest you look into Journalist Outreach platforms like Featured, Qwoted, Connectively, etc. You can land some great links that could have a PR impact (especially if you can land some high-authority publications.

Your site is already a darling of Google. You should just create internal links and push your pillar content. High quality backlinks will always work in your favor but you should be careful not to build too many links too fast. You can easily reach 100k clicks with a little optimization.
