I am seeing links to my auction items on a few product related specific forums and was wondering if there was a way or a work around to stop this. Think of it as someone who links to me on BHW. The forum has a huge Organic SEO presence for the products carry and unfortunately for me, it is run by several industry participants in order to do exactly what they are doing - no one outside of a few people who took the time to deduce this knows the owners are actually in the industry. So the forum comes off as an independent authority on all things related to my product. But when they see small guys like me they begin the usual campaign which always almost ends with a "suggestion" to one of their own instead of me the newb. Good strategy, that is my next move.. but for now I desperately need a way to solve the existing links and some preventive measures for the future.

Thanks for responding. Because it is funneling negative reviews and raising a needless panic. People read these reviews, begin to start messaging me with dumb questions, etc. All because some duster did not do their homework and linked my items so the other vulchers can jump on. I am serious I got about 40 links just today from their threads. Asking the admin is pointless.

Can't you end the auctions and create new ones? Probably extreme, create a new ebay account if he's really affecting your sales.

That would be it right - no magic way to block their ip etc?

I guess going to have to fight fire with fire and beat them at their own game ...
