How can I become a social media manager?

Hi, I am relatively new to this forum and I have seen that there is a lot of quality content.

I have become interested in working as a Social Media Manager but I don't really know how to start, I would really appreciate your advice.

What specific skills do I need to develop to work in this field?

How can I manage several accounts at the same time?

How can I get clients?

You need to learn all the twitter, instagram, fb, linkedin quirks and features, read their guides on advertising, master these platforms. There you go.

I was referring to how to control many accounts.
I understand that there can be problems if I control many accounts from the same ip.

You must know all the leading Social media well. How to use them like a pro, how to advertise, how to handle customers (Customer service skills), Good Written English and so on. I mean anything needed to properly handle the Social media your client is looking to manage. By Leading Social media I mean like: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok and messaging apps like Whatsapp, Telegram etc.

Awesome advice man.

In this job can I use blackhat techniques like buying followers, bots or things like that?

Or do I have to do everything organically?
 
If you have the clients its easy mate , buy some admin dashboard from themeforest , your clients will be impressed with what they will see , hire a programmer , soon they see that huge pumps in their followers they will like the work , always upsell something!!

You can discuss with your client if he is willing to go for Blackhat. You can obviously use some bots that can help you manage efficiently if you are willing to do it full time. If you have enough clients you can invest in bots.

The admin dashboard is a good idea. But I didn't understand the programmer part, I hire one to do what?

to make their stats live (followers/likes...) (the trends nowadays is to squeeze those nobady ) they don't know anything , just bunch of loosers looking for attentions , give them what they want

Just bind proxy to each account.

At first, you need to understand how everything works. Then, you'll need to grow some accounts with the info that you've acquired.
Then you have to decide if you want to automate the accounts or simply do manual actions on them.
