How Can I Beat Yelp on Google?

Okay everyone, this is probably a dumb question but I'm just curious, is there anyway that I can beat yelp for my local niche (dentists in my county). I did The Dark One's Method, and finally got my website ranking on the first page. However, I'm closer to the bottom than I am to the top. Is there anyway I can beat Yelp? Does anyone have any tips for me? I've bought comments, did social networking ,made a blogger, added my website to Google Places, changed the titles of my webpages, social bookmarking, link building, etc etc. I've also pinged my website. Any advice??? Thanks

Get more high pr links to push your site to the top. You can also try ranking a couple web 2.0 sites to compete because Yelp has a pretty good authority with google.

I can out rank Yelp for you, it's pretty easy, but depends on which Keyword, PM me if you want to hire me to do your SEO.

Yelp is a pain in the ass to beat sometimes, I have had trouble, you just gotta keep pluggin away at it.

Beat them at their own game and send quality backlinks to YOUR Yelp page and push it up the page.

Yelp generates leads for you if you have a good rating. Thus, you may be able to fix that Yelp search result by beating it out of page 1 but the fact still remains that you are not utilizing the direct traffic that Yelp gets. I suggest focus on getting that rating up, that way, you won't have to worry about Yelp appearing inside top 3 always since it helps your business anyway.
