How can I be BHW mod?

You litterly just joined the website. I'm not pointing fingers or anything but... You need to get more accustomed first. Probably not until a year or a couple months should you apply.

And well done for you, literally just reviving a year old thread. Not pointing fingers or anything... but I think there's a better way to get posts than this.

Or not. I have been active on the forum for many years and active on irc for about 3 now and can honestly say I haven't seen anyone get promoted for no reason other than making friends on there. In fact I can think of only one mod that was promoted in that time that spends any amount of time active in irc and he is definitely deserving of it.

Lots of mods are not from the US or UK so guess again on that

Just because you probably got cussed out on irc doesn't mean it is corrupt in there or here on the forum, the rules about conduct are just a little more loose in the irc when it comes to dealing with idiots.
