I want to create a montage of certain vacation places by using videos on YouTube. How can I avoid copyright violations? Can I use video editing techniques such as zoom or color grading to avoid detection?

I'm not going to download a single video and reupload it. I'm putting together clips to make a brand-new video.

there is a guy on bhw who does video ban avoidance tech on bhw

I tried some multiple things, the biggest problem I would say is the detection of music. Video is easier to avoid. I'm not sure, but in my view they are using AI to detect parts of music. And it doesn't matter if you put filters on it or modify the speed etc.

i am not even talking about a music video, this is actually some sort of a scam video and i still get copyright infringement. How does that work? does it mean the owner has been able to prove that the scammer in the video is him? i am talking about this

if anyone has an idea on how i can bypass this copyright infringement thing, i can actually pay money for it. i mean because its not even a legit video it should easy to bypass right? @ItsAllTheWayUp do you have a method cause mine is just a regular scam video

I don't support any kind of crypto scams. I think it's even against the board rules here

Plan A: Simply avoid the whole copyright stuff by using royalty free footage/music. use elements.envato for example. Easy 4k drone-footage, text-animation presets, music, sound effects, everything you need.

Plan B: Create an agreement between you and the original content producer, make him sign a doc. and use his stuff without facing any copyright infringements.
(Can be challenging in the beginning, to convice somebody, if you do not have a good traffic source already, that eventually promotes the other side too.)

Does not sound like you need to monetize the video, so why you try to bypass it?
If you simply just down- & reupload the video, think again... YouTube is fully automated and it of course recognizes an identical video ID in its system.
You got to be smarter. Also it is not just about music. It is about certain graphics / footage too.

what have you tried? some obvious things that come to mind.
flip the video vertically
adjust the audio pitch 5%
adjust the video gain. 5%
zoom the video 5%
adjust the playback speed. 5%
add a border around the video or a watermark/digital mascot in corner.
find other people bypassing copyright and study it to reverse engineer their process.

So to bypass audio its really difficult. I dont know about spoken language, but pitch adjustment for music doesnt work. Tested all kind of adjustments

Hello, I have a special software that I have professionally prepared for this.
The software makes existing video unique by doing the following.
1st process:
After certain seconds in the video, for example, once every 10 seconds, it takes the 3 seconds after every 10th second of the video, cuts the 3 seconds before the 10th second, and pastes it instead. In other words, it places the video at the previous fps without distorting its duration.
Conclusion:
In the video, 3-second periods are normal, and the 5 seconds after every 3 seconds are divided into 2 parts. The 2nd section is placed before the 1st section.
example:
https://i.hizliresim.com/4wsfr6s.jpg

In this way, it breaks the algorithm of YouTube's copyright filter and the video becomes unique, but it is not enough.

2nd operation to be performed after the 1st operation:
1- After each specified time (for example, once every 10 seconds), it zooms once, starting from the right or left corner of the video (zoom time is 3 seconds, for example).
2- If the second zoom is from the corner of the video where the 1st zoom was, this time it does the opposite. If the 1st zoom is from the right corner, it does the 2nd zoom from the left corner.
Conclusion:
In the video, it displays normal view every 10 seconds, then zooms to 48% for 3 seconds from the upper right corner of the video. The next zoom is 52% zoom from the top left corner of the video.
example:

This way the video is free from reused content and copyright protection. It becomes bypass.

There is a special copyright level given to each company on YouTube. This level is strong in large companies.
The vehicle cannot exceed the level of big companies. for example disney.. but it gets rid of all other medium sized copyrights.

I have seen movie and anime recaps do something similar. Did you create the software yourself or purchase? Do you mind sharing the link to software?

thanks for sharing, do you think this could also work for music. I tried at least 20 different approaches for music, but its hard

Unfortunately. Since the software is my own, I do not intend to give it to anyone for free or share it.

Not suitable for music videos.

No worries. I figured it out by using movie.py. Thanks though.

You can somehow bypass the video detection but It's too difficult for music !

Conclusion:
exemple:
https://i.hizliresim.com/4wsfr6s.jpg

Conclusion:
exemple:
https://i.hizliresim.com/hw3q4qe.jpg
