How can I avoid being detected as using a proxy?

It's possible your computer has been infected with a virus.

Most proxies get detected because survey sites use advanced bot/fraud filters, not just simple IP checks. It’s not only about “quality” — it’s about how the proxy behaves.
 
Most survey platforms have very strict anti-fraud systems. It’s usually not just about proxy “quality.” They check IP reputation, device fingerprint, behavior patterns, and account history as well.

Even residential or mobile proxies can get flagged if the overall activity looks suspicious. In many cases, the issue is the platform’s policy against proxy usage rather than the provider itself.

Personally, I don’t think it’s just about proxy quality. I haven’t really done survey sites myself, but in general what works better is keeping things consistent — using a residential IP together with an antidetect browser so each profile has its own fingerprint and IP.

It also helps to keep your activity looking normal. For example, don’t switch IPs in the middle of a session, don’t create a bunch of accounts all at once, and spend a bit of time browsing around before doing the main action
 
Most survey sites are very strict about proxies, so even with a “good” one there’s no guarantee it will work.

The issue usually isn’t just proxy quality. They also look at behaviour patterns, device signals, account history, and other trust factors.

That’s why a lot of people still get banned even when using residential or mobile proxies.

In my opinion, you shouldn't just change your proxy. Combine it with an anti detect browser and a clean ISP proxy, and check your fraud score before doing anything.
 
In many cases the browser fingerprint gets burned before the proxy does.
 
Use high quality mobile proxy or residential proxy and antidetect browser
 
If your goal is privacy, use services transparently and follow their policies rather than trying to conceal or evade detection of a proxy.
