How can I avoid being detected as using a proxy?

If you want to use a secure and reliable proxy, you won't use a "proxy" :)

So what do you need to do?

Like this: unplug the modem ethernet cable from your computer, then activate the "USB ethernet connection" from the settings menu on your phone and connect your phone to your computer via USB. Then turn on your phone's mobile data, and there you have it, the real, undetectable, and most reliable IP address. Put your phone in airplane mode and constantly change your IP address.

It’s usually not just about proxy quality. Survey platforms heavily fingerprint your browser and device, not only your IP. Even good residential or mobile proxies can get detected if multiple accounts share similar browser fingerprints. In practice, proxies work much better when each account runs in an isolated browser environment, with the proxy location matching timezone, language, and OS.

So instead of looking for an “undetectable” proxy, combining proxies with a proper antidetect browser is usually the key.
 
What I have noticed is that when I use a desktop app of a proxy, the DNS leaks. But, when I configure the proxy within the settings of an anti-detect browser, there is no DNS leakage.

IP quality is maybe 20 percent of the puzzle - the rest is your whole environment + how you behave.

Right now you’re doing what most people do - buying “premium residential/mobile”, plugging it into Multilogin/GoLogin, thinking that’s enough. Survey networks don’t just check “is this a proxy?” They score IP reputation + ASN history + timezone match + DNS consistency + WebRTC + canvas/audio fingerprint + device age + answer speed + pattern across accounts.

First thing - stop rotating like crazy. Rotating IP mid session or every login screams farm. Pick one country, one city, one carrier/ISP and stick to it. Sticky session, keep it for days or weeks if possible. Only change IP when it’s burned, not as a routine.

Second - geo coherence. If your IP is Texas mobile but your browser timezone is UTC+7 and language is Vietnamese, you’re dead on arrival. Timezone, locale, OS language, fonts, keyboard layout all need to match the proxy geo. TC/IP value some offerwalls check is basically this consistency score.

Third - leaks. Don’t assume “antidetect = safe”. Test every profile on multiple leak checkers. Check WebRTC, DNS, IPv6, WebGL vendor, audio fingerprint. A lot of desktop proxy apps leak DNS, like someone mentioned. Proxy inside the antidetect browser > system level app in many cases.

Fourth - IP history. Shared pools are farmed hard. Survey sites see the same subnet hitting them with 200 fresh accounts a day. That ASN gets soft banned. If you want real stability, you need low reuse IPs. Dedicated SIM based mobile or static ISP where you’re the only one on that IP. Even then, warm it up like a real human - browse normal sites, build cookies, age the profile. Brand new fingerprint + brand new IP + instant survey grinding = instant risk flag.

Fifth - behavior. Surveys track timing + answer consistency. If you complete a 20 minute survey in 6 minutes across 10 accounts with similar demographic answers, it’s over. Slow down. Let accounts age. Don’t blast 30 offers on day one.

There is no “undetectable proxy”. These platforms are built to block exactly what you’re trying to do. The goal isn’t invisibility - it’s looking boring + consistent over time. If you’re getting flagged at signup, it’s almost always mismatch or bad IP reputation, not just “wrong provider”.

Fix the stack as a whole - IP + fingerprint + leaks + behavior. Proxies alone won’t save you.

glad it helped. if you're still getting flagged after fixing the stack, audit your dns next. a lot of setups look clean on ip but leak dns through system resolvers... running dns through the proxy or using a resolver matching your proxy's geo closes that gap.
 
Honestly, it’s probably not just the proxy. Survey sites track way more than just IP. If your browser setup, cookies, device info or general behavior look off, you’ll get flagged no matter which residential provider you use

To avoid detection, look for high-quality residential proxies from reputable providers that focus on fresh, clean IPs and slow, organic rotations. Survey sites are the hardest to proxy. They use stuff like IPQualityScore and MaxMind on the backend which flag IPs before you even load the page, best use mobile proxies
 
invest in quality residential mobile proxies. they hardly cost few dollars

sites detect proxies using combined signals (IP reputation, rotation, fingerprinting), and trying to hide usually causes bans. Your safest path is to use a normal residential connection, a single honest profile, and follow the panel’s rules or move to panels that officially accept your location.
 
static ISP is a solid pick for account management but @santostele is right that it alone isn't a magic fix for GPT/survey sites specifically. those platforms layer device fingerprinting on top of IP checks.

so even a clean static ISP proxy won't help if your browser canvas hash, audio context or webGL fingerprint matches a known automation pattern. for GPT sites the additional layer you need is a hardened browser profile with spoofed fingerprints, not just a clean IP.

the @TryToWin point about DNS leaks in desktop proxy apps is also important, if your system DNS is still leaking through your proxy setup is already partially compromised regardless of IP quality.
 
Use mobile proxies, although it's a bit expensive, it better for anonymity
