How can he on top with only almost forum backlinks?

Hi,

Recently I tried to analyze a site doing product launch . This one is often on top 1 or 2 with many products and it seem that he only builds backlinks from forums and there's around only 50 backlinks(I used ahrefs to check but I use free version so I can't see all of his backlinks but I believe almost of them are from forums). I know that those are high pr forums but domain pr is not relevant to page pr right? Whenever he comments, creates a new thread or creates a profile, isn't it pr 0 or n/a? How can high pr forums help him climb on top of google easily?

Yes it maybe a Pr0 etc but when he decides to juice up those backlinks with new tiers, who gives a shit about PR then lol

High quality backlinks also good than lots of low quality backlinks !! to check if he did tiers or not then you have to work your ass off ! but i think .... you still won't find out if he is using tiered method or not
