i wanna go back to programming but the competition in upwork and fiverr from guys from poor countries and billions of people make me give up

Work on your portfolio. A few of the biggest factors of landing jobs as a freelancer are:

- Communication & transparency. - be upfront about the cost of your services and how long it'll take to complete the project.
- Previous work & reviews. - People need to be able to view your portfolio. If you have nothing to showcase, do some javascript/python projects from youtube & showcase them on your portfolio.
- Visibility. The more people you respond to/submit a proposal to, the higher the chance is that you get a job/contract.

LinkedIn is a very good place to get a job, every day many companies post job offers.

You could also find jobs on Job Board Search, Twago and Remotive. It is very important that you have a good updated CV and a portfolio if possible.

I'm a computer science engineer✌ Good luck

I would say LinkedIn as well. I was really disappointed when people started getting political on LinkedIn though. I'm glad people don't here I think. I guess maybe I haven't browsed a lot yet though.

The other way is to JV with somebody here. What can you code?
