How Big A Niche?

Hey guys
So I have a niche but am unsure if its worth going after.. Its an 'esoteric' spiritual niche
The competition is quite low, there is no official authority site in this niche providing real information/content
Searches per month on Google:
Main keyword has: 4400
Specific keyword has: 2400
Related word has: 3000 a month
One brand is established with: 18,100 searches a month, again no content, just a course people sign up for.

Can money be made in a niche like this? I happen to be an expert in this field but never started because I thought there was no money in it. Courses are charged at about $20.00 a month, plus there are mini seminars/course at $150 a pop, consultations for more, initiations and mentoring are worth a lot of money, and I was thinking of a few high ticket items, so what do you think?

If the competition is fairly low and you think you can rank on the first page of Google, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to make money in that niche. It seems like you already have ideas for monetizing the site and I'm sure you can find some related items in clickbank(target audience seems like they may also be interested in meditation or yoga, etc.). Since your an expert in the field, maybe you can even make an ebook and sell it through clickback.
