How Are You Folks Doing With CPC + CPA?

Hi folks,

I'm really fed up with Google and their shenanigans. Eventually, I'll want to build a whitehat business, without link building and all that crap, but that will take time and I want to make an extra cash on the side, without spending 12 hours a day chained to the computer doing things that Google likes today but might hate tomorrow.

I stopped following 90% of the blogs because I couldn't take anymore. Every single blogger repeated the same thing over, and over and over. The only guy I really respected was a fellow named "Grizzly". He never revealed his name or proof of income but he understood the industry. Unfortunately, he hasn't published anything in over a year.

I spent the previous weeks reading hundreds of threads, trying to find out a good method to generate some extra money. CPA + Youtube seemed a good one, but on the long run it seems kinda pointless because Youtube is quite good at removing videos and banning people.

On the other hand, CPC + CPA/Clicbank seems a good bet, which means I will need to get over my fear of spending a small fortune if I wish to learn the basics.

My goal is $1500/month. $3000 would be great. $5000 would be a dream.

I did a lot of searching but the majority of the threads are outdated, confusing or useless (most of the posts are fluff). I'm trying to find which people I could learn from, because I get the feeling there are a lot of members who appear to big players, but they never show proof of their claims.

So I'm asking you: on the CPC (Facebook/Adwords) + CPA matter, which BHW members know their stuff? And are there any cool blogs that don't try to sell you a $197 product every month?

so u want some one spoon feed you ? lol if u really read blogs etc im stories methods they might be outdated but they are
an example how peoples made money and was kind enough to share it to public make 25% use of your brain and u make enough

I don't want to be spoon fed. No need to be a jerk. If it was that easy, then there was no need to have these forums, right?

Do you actually realize the absurd amount of information this forum has for a newbie? The sheer amount of sub-forums (over 60!) and overall forum activity is so high that's hard to find a place to start.

I understand the best thing is to work on the trenches, but I would like to devote a few hours to learn the basics of CPC and learn the lingo. CPC is a whole different beast from SEO and what I'm used to do. If I'm gonna invest money on ads, you can bet I'm gonna test the waters before jumping in.

I have no idea how the CPC industry evolved in the last years. The SEO industry suffers drastic changes every year. Is it that absurd to ask those who have experience on the subject to give some advice?

you have to learn the basics - split testing, tracking, ad copies, landing pages..and then starting out with small amounts of investments..there is no other way round..you just have to loose your "fear" of "loosing your money"...its more like investments that you do ..and you will get the experience which will lead you to success (data from your campaings)

If you are looking adword + CPA then it is difficult to go with adword preferred method the you have to go for multiple accounts and VCC.
Otherthan that you can create a membership site or collect email from adowrd and promote CPA offers

Why would I need several Adwords accounts? Is it that easy to get banned?

Also, I read from several places arguing that targeted Facebook traffic converts better than Adwords. What is your experience?
