I agree. FB is tightening up but it really is a good thing. There is still so much money to be made in other areas on FB.

Or does it depend on how much you have to invest, how much you want to make and long term or not?

you are not allowed to monetize things at facebook. they ban the id in that case. but if you want to earn money from it then you can utilize youtube for that purpose. upload as many videos on youtube and apply adsense in your account. post the links on your facebook page and invite as many clicks. this way you will be able to generate clicks. of course the videos have to be very intersting and relevant.

Investment is a huge factor. The problem is, these days FB has gotten so hectic, I would not advise you to invest a significant amount of money into FB because at the moment there is no guarantee on a decent ROI.
Shit has just hit the fan...unfortunately.
