Just been lurking as usual in Ahrefs. Noticed three people using this kind of link. Any ideas how on earth they would have indexed this?
I can remember hearing about this being done with google yonks ago but cannot remmember.
I dint get what sending a query to a search engine would do and how they are making it point at their site.
Or the weed im smoking is doing the job!

I have replaced the original keyword with ketodiet 2021 review. GMX domain is the same.
What do you think? if you don't wanna share openly just wave lol.

Search pages can be made index-able. You can do this in WordPress too for example.

The trick might to get people to search for the keyword in GMX enough times (just a guess).
How would you go about doing it in WP?
I also thought they were forcing a search query but how its pointing to one thier subpages i dnt know. I keep trying to break this part down devi=02&mkt=DE-DE&lang=en...

I have one of those gmx links showing in ahrefs. It’s not anything I actively tried to get or have indexed. It just appeared one day.

I think in WP it's like that by default. AIOSEO has the option to noindex search page

DE-DE is a location identifier. If someone searched from Germany, that page will become indexed in my option.

Yea, I think that's how it works

Ahh i see, wierd stuff. Il see if i can replicate. Cheers guys

I've seen this in a lot of authority websites,
some of these are ranking for quite competitive keyword as well,

for indexing, naturally, it should be done just by tracking users in chrome & other chromium sub web browsers
some people have been using this as well, no backlink in the page, just a mention of the domain in the URL & meta title

Interesting, be keen to hear anyone who builds these.
