How are they getting viral again and again?

Okay fellas.

So I was looking to start some sort of a giveaway thing with the help of Facebook, Youtube and my website.

At this moment I bumped into http://on.fb.me/124hgrz

Previously, there was a very similar page which I guess the admin deleted once they made quite a lot of money out of it. I mean this is ridiculous. The names of winners, the photos, everything are clearly fake. Still people continue to post and share there.

And there is another such page emerging again. I see 9k likes there already. How in this world are the people falling for it again and again despite knowing they have to fill in a survey and still they won't win?

I am still struggling at my page to try and get even 5k fans. I am still on 1k and despite 450 views on one of my giveaway posts, no one really even clicked a survey on the site.

This is freaking me out...:yield:

56k fans they have. And it's not about that. Before that they had created a similar page, got about 80k fans commenting, sharing and perhaps filling those surveys as well even after seeing that fake winner names are being announced again and again.

And now they have joined this page. And are commenting and sharing this again after knowing it is ditto same and they aren't going to win.

There is a very similar page coming up again which has got 9k fans already. So once the admin deletes this page, they'll move on to the next one.
 
these offers convert easily, we used to have that fb 3 step script back then which made these things go viral overnight.. good old days xD

and if you try that cl method of giving away gift cards it still converts too..

I googled around for the site they mentioned on their page. Their site didn't have any ranking or any listings either. So I believe even if someone does that 3 step thing, they are able to do it directly from Facebook as well since that sharing requires confirmation as well.

Anyone would like to review my site/page maybe?
 
Be careful with giveaways on FB. If the site catches you, and they don't like what you're giving away...no matter how legit you are, they will close your page.
 
Then why is no one reporting these guys. They are absolute fakes. People are obviously being scammed when they fill those surveys and don't have even 0.01% chance of winning.
 
At least $100/week per page they have. That's what my estimate is.
 
atleast $100/week?

i used to make +$6,000 a week with a 150k page for best buy gift card

obviously not. If I had to report I would have done it well before. I am just wondering about others. If they already know that it is a scam then how is it that they are not reporting it?

well there's ppl who just ignores these pages requests instead of reporting.. but still a lot of ppl fall for these/think its real.

and it takes many reports to get shutdown..

I see. It's really crazy to be honest. Much like free drugs or something.

I am working on a somewhat related niche. Not any hardware or something. But something related to software. And it is going nowhere.
 
you need to have some way to get some initial real fans.. paying or create fake profiles and add targeted friends to them, then just invite them to your page.. also use some method to keep members active so your page will be visibel on their friends "home".
most important, promote something new everyone wants.. not stuff like Free Photoshop Key..
iphones, ipads, galaxy, gift cards, new games, consoles..

Been doing that. Got 1.4k fans. A few of them sharing and everything as well. But no visitors on my site. Or even if they come, they dont fill up the surveys...

Help out bro! It is like really frustrating!
 
How do they earn money? I still don't get it.

1.4 is not much and like i said you gotta see if your niche is good and yet dont send them any offers let it build first.
