How are these channels getting monetized???

after getting hit with demonetization for edited twitch clips(reused content) I went down some rabbit holes and found these kind of channels

They are uploading chinese animations, and half the videos have like watermarks plastered across them. How did they get past youtube monetization checks?
is it viable to copy them?
