You'll have to try it out and see for yourself.
Nevertheless, I would say that for experience people doing this it should be profitable.
Just bear in mind that media buyers promote 100's of offers at the same time.

Traffic from pushes, first of all from in-page pushes
So buy in-page pushes about a giveaway and send the traffic to my pre-landing which directs them to the sweepstake? Does this work well if you niche down or does a generic "free $100 Walmart" work like this, too?

Low conversions cause not all leads will get counted.
