Hi guys, I'm thinking of moving up from YouTube spamming and decided to buy mw own domain. However what's putting me off is buying the domain and remaining anonymous.

Are people simply using pre paid credit cards and fake details to buy domains from godaddy etc. Or is there a more sophisticated method I am missing.

Any replies are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Namecheap accept bitcoins as payment now... so you could in theory register a domain there with fake details i do not condone this method though!

Remember, fake owner means you can loose it any time.
One method is to use real details from someone (dead already..) so you can recover it back in case something goes wrong.

There was a famous company that owned a few torrent sites domains, they act as a intermediate and they stay the owners of the domain. I've seen it on a deepweb forum but can't remember where.

Get an alternate e-mail, use most of your data, and also pony up for privacy protection, a bit pricy, but it'll come around in the long term.

I think you might be referring to AnonymousSpeech, I've inquired into that but there seems to be a lack of reviews and feedback.

Nevertheless, thank you to all he replies in the thread, I guess I'm gonna have to use my real details to register

Use an offshore provider, slightly more expensive but if thats what you want then it will do the buisness without having to use fake details and risking anything in that respect.

Bitcoin and fake credentials or anymous host where credentials are not even needed.
