How are people getting Instagram Verified?

I have been looking everywhere. Without any luck.

Surely there must be a way to verify to your Instagram account (Blue Tick). I emailed [email protected] without any luck.

I find accounts that do not like famous people at all with Blue Ticks

Does anyone know? Without scamming people? Or a genuine way?

From what I've heard it's easier to get verified if you know someone personally working for Facebook or Instagram.

The search for the golden goblet continues . It won't make any big difference so if I were you I wouldn't try that hard, it's just a blue sign. There are people doing this for a price, not sure if I saw any on bhw though, but it's usally expensive and as I said, not really worth it.

I have a friend who is a college basketball player in US and also plays for national team in Europe and he had to get somebody from FIBA (International Basketball Federation) to email Instagram that he is a public figure and that his account is his actually.
He has 2.5k followers and he still managed to get it but then a month after they took it away.
A bit of an enigma that blue tick is.
