1) Is it that your site is no longer moving up the ranks?
2) Or is it that you feel you are not getting enough backlinks?

3) Is it both?

If you don't invest money wisely you can go manual for low some keyword but they don't bring money.

SEO is a business, if you don't invest money you don't do much, when you invest then you will start leaning about how things work.

Also SEO is a game of numbers of how many keywords you can own, with a certain number and link quality

Why do people have to add the "zero" informatin we know before we can start asking to buy services and stuff on BHW? Doesnt make sense?

Try searching for link partners . And also learn more about 2 way and 3 way link building .I'm still learning this whole SEO thing myself . Good luck man , and what ever you do don't quit learning and trying new things.

Try guest posts. You like writing so offer other strong sites free content with a link back to your site.

I really liked this. I also believe in manual link building instead of using any tool.

Try guest blog posts.

Sell links and earn some money. Meanwhile read more what Google is looking for. By the time you know what SEO is, you will have some money in your bank from selling links. Invest that amount wisely, not on Link building but on SEO.

You dont need millions of links, you just need REALLY good ones. Although getting Blog reviews through Blogsvertise etc is over (or will be soon) why not find very good blogs in your niche & see if you can get them to review you, in return for links from other sites of yours, content etc? Online press releases seem to be working well too. but put away the software analyse other peoples links. Look at theit top ones & replicate where possible. I would suggest a part time job too.
Gove google what it wants & see how that works. You need a solid foundation to be able to use rubbish links, IMHO.

Creating your own network of blogs is the best way,it takes time and money but is virtually untraceable done right.You then try and get related niches (not same niche it won't happen in most cases they are doing thr same as you) to link to you.Allow some comments,create your own if needed but invite people to post info on your site (this takes care of content),alot of people see themselves as experts when they are not,as long as the info is factually correct allow it.
Bottom line is you need money or a bucket load of time for seo nowadays.
