How are people bypassing requests folder?

You can with accounts that have a previous session attached to them. By previous session; I am referring to history that shows the account has sent other users messages.

You cant bypass the request section, thats not how things work at all.
The only way you can reach primary inbox is in two cases :
-The person follows you already.
-Or he accepted your request and moved the DM to Primary.
Apart from this its not possible to bypass it in some secret way.

It largely depends on the accounts themselves. Some accounts can send messages without any issues, while others, quite frankly, get blocked immediately and become hidden. So, you know, it’s necessary to test different accounts to find the ones that will work best for you. This has become extremely difficult lately, to be honest.

Instagram intentionally designed the requests folder to prevent spam, so most DMs from non-followers land there.

There's no way to bypass the requests folder unless the person you're sending the DM is already following you.

Most of the “bypass methods” people talk about are myths. If someone doesn’t follow you, the message normally lands in requests.

No reliable bypass exists. On Instagram, if you DM someone who doesn’t follow you, the message automatically goes to the Message Requests folder by design. Only when they accept the request or follow you will future messages land in the main inbox.

Account and IP quality is all it matters. Around 30-40% of my DM's get sent to the notifications.
