Some of the websites like quillbot, jasper, logo.ai, logomaster.ai seem to have massive potential for money making.
Where do these sites get the AI from? Are they using API to "buy" AI from big shots?
Can anyone please enlighten me?

Yeah, they take advantage of the API
For instance, Jasper uses open ai

AI-based websites are typically created by utilizing programming languages and frameworks that allow developers to incorporate AI algorithms and machine learning models into their web applications.

The development process of an AI-based website typically involves the following steps:

Determining the purpose of the website and the type of AI algorithm or machine learning model that will be utilized.
Gathering and preparing the necessary data for the AI algorithm or machine learning model to learn from.
Training the AI algorithm or machine learning model using the prepared data.
Integrating the trained algorithm or model into the website's backend or frontend to provide AI-powered functionality to users.
Testing and refining the website's AI features to improve accuracy and user experience.
The specific tools and techniques used in creating an AI-based website can vary depending on the project's requirements and the developer's expertise. Some popular programming languages and frameworks for building AI-based websites include Python, TensorFlow, and Keras.

It is based on API which will cost a lot. So if you want to start one, find an investor first.

Someone's using ChatGPT. One way to increase post count I guess?

It is not about providing AI content, they spend thousands of dollars per month th for server also. Tools like chatpt went viral so marketing cost was very less for them but now with new tool you will have to spend a lot for promotion.

These AI based websites offering services like logos, animations and articles will, hopefully, soon become cheaper to make. If you look at business model, these guys are killing it, charging 20 to 50 bucks for a logo whereas their AI cost is probably peanuts
