A bit of a newbie questions... I just created an affiliate program for my 8 year old business. It has the highest payout in my industry, which I hope will be enough to satisfy seasoned affiliates. Now I just need the actual affiliates to promote it.

Where do I find experienced and ethical affiliate marketers to work with, and what are some warning signs of bad affiliates?

When I found my first affiliates, it was after I was an affiliate for their product. That's how it works in some niches. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

find affiliates is to list your products in affiliate networks such as Shareasale, Clickbank or JvZoo. Affiliate marketers who are looking for a product to promote often go there to search for them. Make sure you offer a great program and a lucrative affiliate commission.

What exactly do you offer? I might be able to help out

You can google "affiliate program" followed by the niche that interests you

@addiso39 it's an interesting direction. Though if I understood the model correctly, I would have to list my products on their site. Whereas I have an online form for me graphic design business (@fxkool ). Clients enter their needs, select their options and extras, and get redirected to the payment page. After that they navigate away. I don't know how well these networks would integrate with my setup. Not well I imagine, unless I completely redesign my order process.

So would that mean that you are targeting website owners to sell your product? If yes I might be able to help you and get some more clients

Check your niche. Are there any affiliates operating and/or dominating in SERPS? If yes, check which platform are tehy using and apply there OR approach those affiliates directly.

We are also interested. We also are starting an Affiliate Program and we would like to find some interested affiliates.

The first and foremost step is to select your niche.

Let's say - I am a stock market expert and want to teach the same on YouTube. Yes, I will open my channel there and gather some subscribers to it. Once I have tons of subscribers, I will go for the Affiliate partnership program. You can simply google it and read terms and conditions

So for the education niche, I will get many affiliates programs online. For eg - Elearnmarkets, Udemy, Coursera, etc.

If you want to sell it via a website - You can follow the same. The best way will be to google and check personally on each of Affiliates and know which one can profit you

I'd take a look at sites like Clickbank and ShareaSale

What I did is grab all the competitors backlinks that use an affiliate program and found them that way. Affiliates got to link to the product, right? :)
