How an Affiliate Program Works for a Membership Web Site?

Hi there guys!

I'm launching a membership website soon. I'm considering using amamber pro for the job, cause it offers a built in software for affiliate programs.

So... a question appeared:

How the comission system works for a membership website? My affiliate will receive his commissions monthly, or can i set up my affiliate program in a way that he only receives like...50 percent of the first monthly payment and that's it?

yes you can set that, but I think that affiliates will love the idea of receive recurring payments for only one sale

You should give them recurring until they or your company terminates their affiliate agreement or if they do not drive traffic anymore after a set time. Something like:

If COMPANY or AFFILIATE terminate this agreement at anytime residual payments from past sign ups will cease to be paid out to the affiliate.

If AFFILIATE ceases to produce any new members for 90 days and is unreachable by affiliate managers it is at the companies discretion as to suspend or void the affiliate agreement.
