How accurate is the service in general? I've been using it to research topics, and I was wondering if the search volume/competition stats were correct. Are the scores that they give you for specific keywords accurate?

Thanks for the thread, OP.
I'm interested in a more particular question: how accurate are its "hot" topic recommendations?
Since so many people use VIDIQ wouldn't creating a vid on a hot topic be a waste of time? So many people would be targeting that topic.

Several individuals use vidIQ for subject selection as well as video statistics. and it will help the creator in figuring out the current account's strength

How is the data competition stats collected? They pull it from youtube or is it the extension that crowd collects the data directly.
