How accurate is this?

I've run my site and competitor's site thru open site explorer and this is what I got as results:



I though I had way more backlinks, and so does G. Webmaster tools says (360).

Now I want to rank for three KWs on #1-3.
1kw - global/local - 12k/8k - low competition, cpc 0.1$ - #8
2kw - global/local - 300k/110k - low competition, cpc 2$ - #somewhere far away
3kw - global/local - 8k/3.6k - low competition, cpc 0.1$ - #somewhere far away

I add unique content about 1-2x per week. Getting poor 40-60 UVs per day now.

What would you recommend to me? Any kind of service or free advice is welcome - e.g. how should I build my backlinks.

OSE only updates once a month, and this months update already happened so I'm betting it just hasn't populated all your links if you've been building them recently.

Actually I haven't build backlinks for quite some time.

Thats odd then don't know what to tell ya, although I've noticed that while google wmt still shows them, ose is showing about 1000 less links then it was a month ago for one of my sites. maybe discounting lower quality links?

Could be due to a whole host of reasons. Every service has their own way of gathering data.
