so how about using fake whois information for your blog network instead of using private whois?

Reading allot of seo/website stuff and never heard some one talking about using fake whois

Would that be a big no no ?

Nope, no problem using fake info. Do it all the time. Beats paying extra for Whois protection at places like godaddy. If you're that concerned about it, use namesilo - they have it free.

Fake whois works a charm 99% of the time.

Another way of doing it is renting mailboxes or booking co-working space at place like Techhub. This gets expensive though so you'll want to be banking hard (And wanting to protect It) off your PBN to go this route.

If its a churn and burn just use fake info, but if your building up a long term project then you should just use private whois In case one of them gets deleted for fake information.

I've read that, from people who've claimed it's happened to them, competitors can report you if your using fake info and your domain can be seized.

Private whois seems to be the logical option.

If competitors can see your PBN (i.e. you're not -correctly- blocking backlink bots) fake WHOIS should be one of your last worries.

Also, sure giving fake WHOIS info is against ICANN policies, but I've yet to come across one succesful attempt of a domain getting seized because of it. Heck, almost all (semi-)illegal niches use fake WHOIS MONEY sites and even they don't get seized either. Not saying those stories are wrong, but I'm sure they are the exceptions to the rule. Just be smart and stay away from big registars like Godaddy because the probability of them regulating these policies is a lot bigger.
