the best domain name on which a blog should be is in a dotcom, and not a very rarely used tld such as .im

get a dotcom, install wordpress and use plugins like google sitemaps generator and headspace, and the search engines will come crawling and you will see some traffic soon as you have some 50 quality articles on your blog.

yes get google xml sitemap generator plugin and submit your sitemap to google webmaster tools, and also go setup an onlywire account and download the toolbar, and submit an article every now and then to onlywire.

This will help seo and indexing.
