How a Paypal account get frozen? Need help

I like to start some online services and opted to choose payment processor as Paypal. I read sometimes that accounts got frozen, like that. I never got any problem with Paypal and using for only paying hosting bills, domain registration etc. for the past 5 years. So, I like to know what causes the account gone frozen? How to get prevent from this? If it get frozen what to do?

I have two accounts one is business account and another one is personal (that's my wife's one) which account should I use?

Just a few of the many things that can cause one of the PayPal reps to click a button:

- Owning multiple accounts
- Accepting payments from shady PayPals/too many unverified PayPals
- Too many charge backs.

If you're straight white hat, then you don't have a lot to worry about but lately they've been getting screwy and as an executive VIP said, sometimes even if someone places an order, you won't receive the e-mail but it will still go through.. convenient huh?

Actually, I am not going to sell any digital products, its a service, once the payment reaches me, then only I am gonna do the work, I am not going to cheat anybody. So, I am bit worried, someone still charge-back after completion of the work.

Yeah.. people do that as well. If it's for a fairly large amount, this is what I do now.

I never just tell the guy "well ok here's my PayPal" No no.. I send a money request to this person and I will call this person up to make sure they're who they say they are.

When I was trying to sell my World Of Warcraft account there was a tidy little guide written on a BST (Buy/Sell/Trade) forum for WoW.

Step #1: Have this said person, go to whatsmyip.org and note down their IP address.
Step #2: Have this person give you their # and call them up on the number given. (Preferably a land line)
Step #3: Send THEM a money request for the said amount
Step #4: In the note or in an e-mail, (from the same Paypal e-mail) they are to send you an e-mail stating "I (first and last name) have authorized this transaction for (enter amount). For verification purposes my landline is (number) and my IP address is (Their IP). I hereby give up my rights to a charge back and stating that the amount sent is valid.

I know those aren't the exact words, but that's the idea of what was said. Now if you're dealing with smaller amounts, that's a lot to go through for a lot of small transactions, but if you could, I would still send them money requests.

Just a quick thing I'd suggest is switch to either Plimus or 2Checkout as both ACCEPT paypal from customers as well as card details and with 2CO u get the money instantly on a prepaid visa. You may be shocked how much more your site converts when you accept more than just paypal. I always thought that every1 had a paypal but this goes to show how wrong I was.

Yes, plimus is a good option..they also have "payoneer mastercard". So you will be able to withdraw funds from any Atm..And they pay on 15th each month.

And they do accept paypal.

My friend is having one unverified paypal account. Now can he use this unverified account for just receiving payments and withdrawing it to bank account. I mean does he need to verify the account as he does not have any credit card and Paypal does not accept indian debit card.

i would say stick with the business account. easier to work things out if things get messy.

paypal is a freaking lion on the block, sometimes it is hard to get around.

Now, I request payments to my paypal, paypal charging me a fee for this.. like, if a customer sends me $20, paypal deducting from that amount a fee of $1.08, how can I get rid of this fee? I want the full payment without any deduction from paypal.
