How a good affiliate page behave?

I'm starting this affiliate marketing adventure with my Instagram account and I would like to know your expert opinions about it.
The arguments I would like to discuss are:
Where do you put your affiliate link? Post caption, bio, stories
When do you put it? Every time you do any tipe of action?
How? I read that Instagram will ban you if you do not cloak you links in some way

Yes you can put links in bios but be VERY careful, instagram will disable your accounts if its not an approved link. Use a cloaker
