Hey guys and gals,

I recently logged into my youtube analytics and there is a banner across the top which states, "

We're experiencing overcounting for mobile device views for many videos. We're looking into the cause and will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
​

What is about to happen???? For instance, BIGBUDDY(who I adore) uses Mobile views so will Youtube be deleting these views soon or what?
What does everything think is about to happen if anything at all??

Mobile views haven't been to popular in ranking of late, I imagine they're trying to scare people from fake views are buying time to close loop hole.

But do you think they will go and delete the views or erase the videos or even worse...BAN the users?

I think they turned off the filters, been getting loads of views and wondered where they all came from xD

My guess is that they are talking about RTSP its still not as filtered as any other method ....

i am also get that notification on my account. not sure what is that all about..hmmm maybe youtube is updating something and filtering something...who knows they owned the views so maybe they also want to be a views provider...and change adsense to adsytview. yeah ..dont be so serius with my words. i am nothing...lol

Got the same banner, but have never used any view/ sub/ like or comment services so I wouldn't worry too much just because you are frequently using BHW.

Looks like we dodged a bullet. They are only going to erase the mobile views from January 11th - January 15th; because during this time there was a legitimate over counting of mobile views by youtube's systems.

Yeah, I don't think it has to do with botting, more of a glitch in Youtube's system. It would explain I used 100 credits on SYV and got like 1000 views each time.
