Today is a day off from work, so I decided to work on my roof. It was leaking every time it rained, and even though it was my first time, I did a great job. I'm proud of what I accomplished. Someone with no experience like me in this kind of work—that's what builders are for—but I felt like no one would put in the effort and dedication I did. No one would take better care of my things than myself, so I got up early, barefoot, with music playing, and whatever I could find to fix it: some cement, lime put on, a little bottle of whiskey, and the desire to get it 100%. I still have a bit to do, but I'm getting closer. With perseverance, anything is possible. I didn't lose hope, and it turned out better than I expected. I just wanted to share it with you all.
