Hotmail verify to create alias?

I can no longer make hotmail aliases unless i verify the account via phone.

Ive tried various accounts this morning and they were all the same.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Arrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhh, even if i verify an account via text i can only create outlook aliases.

This is so unfair

Outsource what? Will they be able to bring back an option that isn't there anymore?
